The National Basketball Association has announced that the ninth NBA Canada Series presented by Bell will feature preseason games in Vancouver and Montréal in October 2023

On October 8, the Toronto Raptors will take on the Sacramento Kings at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. On October 12, Canadians Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort — a native of Montréal — and the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Detroit Pistons at the Bell Centre in Montréal

Tickets for the games will go on sale at a later date and fans can register interest for exclusive presale ticket access. NBA Experiences ticket packages offering premium access to the game in Montréal and other events will be available for purchase

Fifteen NBA teams have participated in 16 preseason games across six cities as part of The NBA Canada Series, drawing a total attendance of more than a quarter of a million

Additionally, the opening night will showcase the revamped Phoenix Suns taking on the Golden State Warriors, setting the stage for a thrilling beginning to the NBA season with these captivating clashes

Furthermore, the first pick of the 2023 NBA draft, Victor Wembanyama, will make his official start with the San Antonio Spurs on the night of October 25. As reported by Marc Stein, the Spurs face off against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks

The Lakers preseason matchups are

The 2020 NBA champion will open their preseason on the road against the Golden State Warriors on October 7 at Chase Center, San Francisco

They will then play at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas against the Brooklyn Nets on October 9. The Lakers will then return home to face the Golden State Warriors for the second time and Milwaukee Bucks on October 13 and 15, respectively

Finally, they will conclude their preseason with a game against the Phoenix Suns at Acrisure Arena, Palm Springs on October 19

Nuggets Preseason Schedule

Denver Nuggets will play five preseason games starting on October 10 against Phoenix

The Nuggets will be looking forward to defending their title in the 2023-24 season. However, they need to improve and level up their games from what was a poor display in the summer league earlier in July.  

They lost three in five matches. Thus, Denver will be eyeing to win all five preseason games to showcase that their 2022-23 championship run was not a fluke

The Nuggets are set to face the Suns, Bulls, and Clippers in the preseason. Their opening game will be against Phoenix and they will play two games each against the Bulls and Clippers

Lakers Season 2023-24

Los Angels Lakers will be playing their 77th NBA season in 2023-24. Darvin Ham is coming back for his second season as the Lakers' head coach

While the official NBA regular season timetable is yet to be unveiled, the groups for the mid-season tournament have been confirmed

The Lakers are placed in Group A within the Western Conference, alongside the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, and Portland Trail Blazers
