I. Objectives

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

1. Knowledge:

- Understand the way of using English in the class. Have a knowledge

about country, people and culture of speaking English countries.

- Tenses: Present simple, present progressive, Be going to +V.inf .

2. Skill: Use the English as a communicative in basic level: listening, speaking,

reading and writing.

3. Attitude: Love the English subject and use it regularly. Proud of the culture

and mother tongue.

- Linguistic competence, cooperative learning and communicative competence.

                                                       LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED                                                    

  1. OBJECTIVES:
  2. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to :

- Use "How............?" to ask about means of transport.

- Vocabulary: use the lexical items related to the topic "Traffic".

- Students  develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, Roling-play, spoken interaction about the topic in getting started

- Students have serious attitude in learning.                   

- Ss are interested in learning English.

- Language: get acquainted with the topic "Traffic".

- Problem solving: find out the correct answer about the text

  1. PROCEDURE
  2. WARM UP: ( 5’)
  3. Goal: Motivate ss to interest in the topic of the lesson and create the fun atmosphere before starting the new lesson.
  4. Content : Talk about "Traffic".
  5. Expected result: Ss can understand the lesson and use the road well.
  6. Performance:

Write the title "Traffic" on the board.

? Call out names of means of transport.

? Share any interesting facts you know about these means of transport.

  2. Goal: Provide Ss necessary vocabularies .
  3. Content : Ss read the vocabularies and match the words to make common expressions.

- Teacher use different techniques to teach vocabulary (situation, realia)

- Follow the seven steps of teaching vocabulary

-Some students repeat the vocabulary in front of class

- T makes sure that all student copy the new words and the meaning of them
