How to play playlists in correct order? Its always backwards, playing newest video to oldest.

Can't watch any playlist in correct order. They all play newest to oldest. So videos play part 3 before part 2 before part 1 and so on.

Go to Playlist settings. In the popup, you will see a drop-down menu in the lower left where you can see play order options.

Easy work around I just figured out after reading the comments here and other places. Go to a playlist that you want to reverse. On the right hand side are the 3 little dots with the option to add all. Add all the items to a new private playlist of your own. Afterward you can sort it by date published and bam its sorted oldest to newest. Really really wish youtube would just add a button already, but this does work.

I could only find this option in Internet Explorer. No big deal I just did it there and reloaded Chrome/Firefox and its all good. Thanks for the info Jacob!
Dear YouTube, stop relying on extension mods and work arounds and just add the fucking sort playlist function. Such ineptitude...

Hey, YouTube? Long time user here. I've been a big fan of youtube since its original launch (which dates me a bit I suppose). I love you guys, even if I think the way you sometimes treat your content creators is a little crappy.
That having been said...
It's nothing short of moronic that this feature isn't implemented. It's simple - you just put a little button next to the largely useless and stupid "random" button that makes the playlist start at the oldest video and then play to the newest - which, by the way, would be a sensible DEFAULT FFS.
SMH. Love you guys, but this? This is just dumb.
Now I'm going to go to an external website to reverse a playlist so I can watch it in the proper frakking order, because you guys are apparently too dumb to create a button. Cheers!
Oh, and for anyone reading this? It's PlaybackLoop.

Its equally moronic that playlist order and sort is restricted to the content creator. This function is mostly a user preference and we should not have to rely on the content creator. These are functions any code monkey should be able to crank out in a few hours so why this has not been properly implemented for so many years boggles the mind

Where are the playlist settings? I hit customize channel and it allows me to sort them oldest first (the one I created first is the one I want first). But then it goes back to the default. There is no "Save button" No "playlist settings" at all that I can see. Is this only on Youtube Premium?
