Best undergraduate business schools princeton review

Weatherhead School of Management has been named on the list of “Best Business Schools for 2023” in the best on-campus MBA cohort by The Princeton Review.

“We are proud to be recognized among the best MBA programs in the country,” said Co-Dean Andrew Medvedev. “Our MBA student experience blends in-class excellence, innovative real-world experiences and engagement of our illustrious alumni community––all with a single-minded focus on student success.”

The list includes 243 business schools, which were selected based on institutional and student survey data, including (but not limited to) career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor in the 2021-22 academic year.

“We recommend these schools highly and with great regard for the MBA programs they offer,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief.

The list features the company’s profiles of 243 schools offering on-campus MBA programs. In its profile, The Princeton Review editors describe Seton Hall’s on-campus MBA program as “a convenient, suburban alternative for city professionals looking to pursue an MBA,” with efficiency being “a key advantage of the Seton Hall MBA,” which offers a streamlined program of forty credits, compared to other schools with sixty credits.

The profiles also include quotes from students enrolled in the MBA programs who were surveyed by the company for this project. Some of the profile’s quotes from students are: “subject material is made very relevant to modern business,” “presentations, in-class discussions, and group assignments are [a] vital part of every course,” and Seton Hall “incorporates core values in its program: integrity, diversity, social responsibility.”

“What students tell us about their experiences at their b-schools contributes substantially to our school selections, profiles, and ratings,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief.

"We are so proud that the Stillman School is, once again, included in Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools MBA listings. This accolade reflects the quality and impact of our program, which, through its focus on applied learning and ethical considerations, develops principled business leaders," said Joyce Strawser, Ph.D., dean of the Stillman School. "Our students benefit from a close-knit community that provides a high level of personalized attention. MBA students also enjoy regular interactions with alumni, beginning in their first course, ‘The Launch Experience,’ and continuing through their capstone course in Business Consulting."

The Princeton Review editors weigh more than 60 data points in making their selections for their annual Best Business Schools lists. The selections for the 2023 list took into account data from surveys the company conducted in 2021-22 of administrators at 243 schools offering on-campus MBA programs as well as surveys over the past three academic years of 20,300 students enrolled in the programs.

The administrator survey requests data on topics from academic offerings, faculty, and career services to admission and graduation rates. The student survey asks students to rate their school’s academics, professors, administrators and career services and to report on its campus culture as well as their career plans.

"All of the b-schools that made our list for 2023 deliver exceptional business education and programs,” Franek noted. “We commend them for their excellent academics, and we recommend them highly to prospective MBA applicants.”

Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School is one of the country’s best business schools according to The Princeton Review. The education services company recently named Monmouth’s on-campus MBA program to its list of Best Business Schools for 2023. This is Monmouth’s 18th consecutive year on the annual academic roster.

“We are so proud that the continued success of the Leon Hess Business School has once again been recognized by the Princeton Review,” Raj Devasagayam, Ph.D., dean of the Leon Hess Business School said. “Our commitment to personalized education that promotes business as a force for good produces business leaders with knowledge, skills, and values that are highly sought by potential employers.”

In the surveys, students highlighted Monmouth’s small campus setting which allows them to “get one-on-one time with professors and administrators,” noting that “faculty are always [available] whether… via email, phone call, or meeting up at a time that is convenient.”

Other students shared that faculty are “very knowledgeable in their fields,” and their varied industry experience “gives [professors] the chance to share real-life business scenarios with students.”

Princeton Review mentions that in addition to faculty, students have access “to a variety of ‘real world’ experts” through the “H.R. Young Lecture Series, the Accounting Club Speakers, the Finance Club Speaker, [and] the S.B. Siegel Lecture Series.”

The Leon Hess Business School is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International — the accreditation has been earned by less than 5% of the world’s business programs.
