Maybe you've heard this story before, but it really creeps me out and I need to share it somewhere. Me and my gf took a trip for a few days to Brasov(Romania). We checked in at this apartament(it was like an apartament complex) where they had a big yard. In this yard were a few cats and we started chatting about cat-related things, like who was their owner etc. I remind you, the whole conversation was in Romanian. I kid you not, 5 minutes after that she received an ad on her Instagram about cat food and cat accessories. What is going on? Are we being listened for targeted ads? I've googled this and I've discovered multiple articles that had adressed this problem, but all of them came to the conclusion that we weren't listened to. I find these pieces of evidence quite compelling though, so if anyone can help me understand what is going on I would appreciate. |
