The continental, while not being as fast paced and action packed as the John Wick movies still has an interesting story. Overall a great addition to the John Wick universe and an amazing way to delve deeper into Winston's character.

A nice action thriller that is too long to be a movie and too short to be a proper series. Putting From the World of John Wick is only gonna make people think less than what it is. The added backstories function as the plot for this show but don't really add anything to the John Wick universe, the way this is told. There's so much going on in these three episodes half of which you won't even care. The action does look good but still, no John Wick. There are so many writing choices that were just easy options for the moment after so many convoluted backstories for backstories. And Mel Gibson was just going crazy in a way that doesn't fit with the rest of the show at all. What the hell's that all about? But as a standalone entry, I enjoyed the setting, action and the overall intrigue very much.

Absolutely dope from start to fin. I was disappointed to learn there's only 3 eps yet each is > an hr. The classic soundtrack/ in-scene music is dope, but the storytelling to go w/ the sexy action scenes make it something I not only would watch again, but makes me wanna watch the Wick series all over again.

I absolutely love the "John Wick" series and think they are some of the best action movies of recent memory. This is why it brings me no satisfaction to say "The Continental" is a massive letdown. The show has a cool style and vibe and at times some entertaining action. However, the total package is a slog and I felt bored through a lot of this prequel that doesn't do much to add to the lore established by the main series. Overall, there are some elements of the show I liked, but it is absolutely style over substance and just not really worth getting on Peacock for.
