I was really disappointed when I applied a coat and the colour was just not there! When I applied a second coat the colour was more visible. The formula seemed more of a satin when first applied which makes it more comfortable and less drying however the colour was gone after my first meal. Definitely not an ink. If you are looking for long lasting and pigmented don't purchase this. If you are looking for comfortable and you are willing to reapply constantly then go for it but honestly for that price I'd expect more. Better off spending an extra $5-$10 for a better quality lip colour.
