Cone-huna Re: VLC opening window "too big"Postby Hitchhiker » 10 Jan 2021 22:30 Right click the Windows taskbar and click "Lock the taskbar" to unlock it. Then drag it to one side, You should be able to resize vlc from there. Drag the taskbar back to the bottom again afterwards and lock it. If it's still too big to reach the right hand bottom corner click the vlc icon on the title bar and then click "Move". This is give you a 4-headed arrow which you can use to move the window in any direction.

Did you even bother to read the post above yours?? An alternative method of resizing the vlc window is to click the vlc logo (the traffic cone) on the title bar and then click "Move". That'll give you a four-arrowed cursor which you can use to move vlc in any direction, but in this particular case upwards freeing the bottom of it from below the taskbar. EDIT: additional steps to make it even easier. After clicking "Move" to get the four-arrowed cursor hit Ctrl + Up Arrow. This shows an outline of the vlc player which will move when you move the mouse. So just place it where you want and then click the left mouse button to exit and then resize it in the usual way. 6sn7New
