Trong bài viết này sẽ cung cấp tới bạn các loại bài tập luyện về thì hiện tại đơn (Simple Present Tense) một trong những kiến thức ngữ pháp cơ bản mà bất cứ người học nào cũng biết đến khi học tiếng Anh.

1. Tóm tắt lý thuyết về thì hiện tại đơn (Simple Present Tense)

1.1. Cách sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn

• Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc mang tính chất thường xuyên lặp đi lặp lại.

VD: Jane plays tennis every Sunday. (Jane chơi tennis tất cả Chủ nhật)

• Diễn tả một hành động xảy ra theo thời gian biểu rõ ràng

VD: I always go to school at 6.30 am. (Tôi luôn đi học lúc 6.30 sáng)

• Diễn tả những trạng thái ở hiện tại.

VD: She is student at Quang Trung high school (Cô ấy đang là học sinh trường Quang Trung)

• Diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên hay một chân lý.

VD: The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. (Mặt trời mọc ở phía Đông và lặn ở phía Tây)

• Diễn tả sự việc xảy ra theo kế hoạch bằng lịch trình như kế hoạch giờ tàu, chuyến bay, xem phim, lịch thi đấu..

VD: The flight departs from Da Nang at 10:50 and arrives in Taipei at 14:30. (Chuyến bay khởi hành từ Đà Nẵng lúc 10:50 và tới Đài Loan lúc 14:30)

• Diễn tả những suy nghĩ, cảm xúc, cảm giác

VD: I think that your friend is a bad person. (Tớ nghĩ rằng bạn cậu là một người xấu)

• Diễn tả hành động tương lai trong mệnh đề thời gian và trong mệnh đề If của câu điều kiện loại I.

Mệnh đề thời gian (time clauses): When, While, As soon as, Before, After

VD:If I get up early, I will go to school on time. (Nếu tôi dậy sớm, tôi sẽ đến trường đúng giờ)

Mệnh đề If của câu điều kiện loại 1:

VD:As soon as he arrives, I will call you. (Nếu anh ấy tới, tôi sẽ gọi cho bạn)

2. Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì hiện tại đơn

Để nhận biết thì hiện tại đơn, bạn nên chú ý đến một số trạng từ chỉ tần suất:

• Always (luôn luôn)
• Usually (thường xuyên)
• Often/ Frequently/ Regularly (thường xuyên)
• Sometimes (thỉnh thoảng)
• Seldom/ Rarely/ Hardly (hiếm khi)
• Never (không bao giờ)

Một số cụm từ xuất hiện trong câu sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn:

• Every + khoảng thời gian (every month,)
• Once/ twice/ three times/ four times + khoảng thời gian (once a week,..)
• In + buổi trong ngày (in the morning,)
