FSP AURUM PT 1200W 80+ PLATINUM, i searched from shopbot. this is the cheapest 1200w platinum power supply.
i will show you the photos and explain some detail things.
from this pic you can understand what's mean for the platinum.
package is ok, the information should be enough for customer, the from the back pic, can easily to make sure how many devices it can support. (....already 1200w, i think it can support as many as you think....)
from the box, it said soft cable....but it's still very hard....if you use a small case, that will be .....i think you can't close the case cover....( just thinking... i think nobody will use 1200w psu for itx.....) but it's full modular psu, you can replace cable by yourself.
ok, now i will open it , to see what's inside.
screws is soft....i nearly damage one of them....is that mean , dont allowed to open it.
( be careful, DO NOT open the power supply , it's dangerous, high voltage, even you unplug the power cable, not joking)
low speed cooling fan... you can replace it, but i dont suggest you to do that...
clean and tidy...because of this is not a technical review, and also i am not good on testing psu, so no more words for the spec inside...
FSP is a big PSU manufacture, this 1200w platinum is one of high end model, i am running it with i7 4790k , titanx , it's very quiet, from the brand , the package and inside, it worth the cost.
from the price , workmanship, brand, and some other reviews, this FSP 1200w Platinum is recommended model.
