How could you think Darkseid and Ra's al Ghul don't deserve to be in the top 10?! That's blasphemy. IMO, its Kingpin and Dark Phoenix who don't belong in the top 10. I really don't think of Kingpin as that good of a villain as to be in the top ten (he's good, but not that good) and I think Dark Phoenix is more so a tragic hero than she is a villain, so she shouldn't even be on the list. Jean Grey is a superhero who was overcome by a cosmic power for a while, went crazy from it and then died. Even though she did go crazy and attack a bunch of people, I still consider her situation being closer to Oedipus, Macbeth, or some other tragic hero than it is to actual villains like Joker or Magneto. Show If I were to rewrite the list, I'd switch Joker and Magneto. I mean, how could they not put Joker in the 1 spot. And Sinestro would at least crack the top ten. After everything he's done in recent years and how it was revealed that HE was the one who started the chain of events that eventually led to Hal Jordan becoming Parallax, he definitely deserved a spot in the top ten. Also, if I were writing this list, Ares would at least be on it. I'm talking about DC's Ares (the Wonder Woman villain). He's ten times a better villain than a bunch of the nobodies that they have up there. How could you have characters like Fin Fang Foom and Despero, but not have Ares, seriously?? Disappointing IGN, very disappointing. If I were doing the top 10, it'd look something like this. I just want to say though that THIS is not who MY FAVORITE villains are, but instead, its a list of who I think a general consensus of the greatest villains should be. There's a difference; for example, Sinestro is actually my favorite villain, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I think he deserves the 1 spot and I also love the Lizard, but I don't necessarily believe he even deserves a spot on the top ten.
