Show Among Galactomyces serum in the market, Some By Mi Vitamin C serum is a unique serum which is a galactomyces vitamin c serum. When I first changed my skincare regime, I wanted to add in Vitamin C as I haven't used one for the longest time. I came across Some By Mi Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Serum and what sparked me to take in curiosity was, believe it or not, is its ambassador. LOL... I still can't get over Sung Jae! Of course, I had to do a bit of study on Galactomyces and it turned me off when I knew it was a fungus. Nope... ain't putting that on my face. But as I read on, it managed to open up my mind. Turns out, Glactomyces contains amazing properties which was almost pretty much the same as Vitamin C provides, but it also helps in sebum control and decreasing acne. I've been using this for over 2 months now, keep on reading to know if it actually worked. Disclaimer: This product was sent to me for review purposes. What?!! And it's called Vitamin C. Should be called an essence. But I chose this anyway because I remember how hard it is to maintain Vitamin C as it easily oxidizes. Plus, more potent Vitamin C could probably cause my acne to worsen. So I took the risk to try this one and now its been over 2 months. I've tried this on and off to see how my skin actually reacts to it. I used it once in my AM routine which was a big mistake, then I only used it during the PM. Also tried 2 weeks without it and my skin didn't seem to see much changes without it. Probably I've been trying out too many acids. I also have a thought that this product may not be suitable for me since the Vitamin C percentage is only 3% and I'm already used to potent acids since I'm also a fan of western brands which has 7% to 20% dosage. Or if it's not because of that, my skin probably just don't like Galactomyces since it's also a kind of bacteria. I'll probably know if I try another product that focuses on Galactomyces only.
My Rate Is Galactomyces serum good?I really recommend this serum to beauties who have dull, uneven skin tone and struggles with pigmentation spots! Even if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, I believe that this will be fine and won't irritate at all.
