It seems to want to put everything into the Inbox instead of the level above inbox. When you are creating a new message, a draft is synchronized to the server Drafts folder. Another possibility is the Mailbox Behaviors has somehow set the Drafts folder as a subfolder of Inbox. Both of those can be found in the Mail Preferences, Accounts. The IMAP Path Prefix is in Advanced IMAP Settings under Server settings. The Path Prefix is normally blank. Gmail Help Sign in Google Help
