I wear these on artificial turf and they are quite comfortable. The heel did give me a small blister after the first wear, but that was expected. I think everyone is aware that Nikes run a little bit narrow, so when they fit snugly at first I was not surprised. I did not notice any discomfort during the match. Great show for the price

This is my son's second pair of Nike Mercurials. He wears them for soccer and football. I like Nike soccer cleats because they are more breathable than other brands, so less stinky. He likes the smooth surface of the Mercurials for shooting/kicking.

Great shoe for the price. Although he hasn't been able to try them out yet, my son likes the look and feel of them. I think they will work well for him.

Super grip for cutting, but was narrow at the forefoot so toes blistered. The sole was a little less forgiving in terms of padding and absorption than expected. All play was on grass. Was hoping shoe would get "worn in" and adjust but after 5-6 sessions playing still feels tight - size is the usual size for all other athletic shoes.

What are Nike Mercurial's good for?

Nike Mercurials are the most famous speed cleats designed for the fastest players of the game. These super lightweight soccer cleats are most excellent on straight-line acceleration. They are legendary among forwards, but you can also see them in midfield and defensive positions.

Are Nike Mercurial good for wide feet?

The Nike Mercurial features a narrower fit than the Tiempo or Phantom, which tend to be wider. However, a lot of players with wider feet love the fit of Mercurial. It all comes down to a kid's preference and playing style.

Which is better Mercurial Superfly or vapor?

But what's the difference between them? In a nutshell, it all comes down to that high sock collar and a few extra pennies. The Superfly features Nike's famous Dynamic Fit Collar, whereas the Vapor is a low cut boot which I personally find easier to get on my feet. If you prefer a high-top collar, go for the Superfly.

How does Nike Mercurial fit?

They do run true to size, and hence being a mercurial, they will not fit wide feet. They'll fit most people but if you have slightly more than average wide feet, I advise you to stay away and go for something a touch wider. The upper is made from Nike's ultra thin Teijin synthetic which is softer and thinner than ever.
