I am on my 4th bottle and I honestly don't think I can live without it at this point. I have very sensitive skin, usually combination (oilier in the summertime, dryer in the winter) and this sunscreen works in every climate and season. It's hydrating enough that I can wear it alone in the summer, and works just as well with a thicker moisturizer underneath it during the dryer winter months. It truly does absorb completely into the skin (after a few minutes of course), so it leaves zero residue, no greasy feel, and absolutely NO WHITE CAST. I'm someone who can be hypersensitive to uncomfortable textures on my skin, so I have struggled most of my life with finding a daily sunscreen that I can reapply throughout the day while still being able to forget I have it on my face. This stuff is IT. It's invisible, weightless, and hydrates my skin while providing unbeatable SPF 50/PA protection. I have never had any issues with this product in combination with any of my other skincare products, or any issues with irritation. I'll literally slather this stuff over little pimples, patches of irritated skin, and all over my eye area (eyelids too!) without so much as a tingle. The ONLY thing about it that people might not love is the smell, which can smell slightly like nail polish remover at first (not as strong, but definitely has a bit of an alcohol smell), but the scent goes away really fast and doesn't linger at all. I'd honestly give this stuff 10 stars if I could. I wrote this review when the item was a BLUE BOTTLE called UV WATERY ESSENCE P+++. It should say UV Watery Essence P+ on it, not Barrier! [skin type: dry, sensitive, acne prone] I LOVE THIS SUNSCREEN. Finding a sunscreen in my 20s was always an uphill battle because so many of them make me break out. Closed comedones, rashes, stinging, cystic acne, etc. If that wasnt bad enough, then theres dealing with white cast, your eyes stinging and watering, your skin looks greasy, the product pills and falls off, and whether or not a sunscreen works with makeup. This stuff is the real deal. I have NO reactions to this sunscreen, it stays on, it doesnt sting or smell, it doesnt pill or leave a white cast, and it works beautifully under makeup (both silicone and water based!!) The texture is so beautiful, somewhere between a lotion and a gel. My skin feels like it drinks it right up and I havent experienced any 'accidental' sunburns with use. I would have a really tough time being convinced to use another sunscreen now between this and the CANMAKE Mermaid Skin gel. Japanese sunscreen is truly the holy grail. This stuff is amazing. I have worn it every day for the past few months and I cannot tell I have it on. The texture of the cream is very light, it dries very quickly and I can't feel it. I have a caramel complexion, and have to look out for sunscreens leaving a white or purple cast on my face (like I rubbed blueberry yogurt all over my face!). This Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery 50 g Sunscreen SPF 50 + / PA rubs right in, with NO CAST! Even while it's drying down, no cast. I also have sensitive, oily and acne prone skin, so there's a lot for me to consider. This product is great. I don't wear makeup for several reasons, so I'm not sure how this would work as am primer. This is the only thing I put on my face in the morning, after washing my face and neck. Sometimes, I'll put on some niacinimide serum on my face first, and there has been no negative interaction between the products. No balling or caking up on my face. It is light and non greasy, non whitening. It goes on smooth and has protected my skin from sunburn. I love wearing it alone or under makeup. The only thing I dislike is the new tube design as it is taller and not as streamlined for traveling. I love how it applies and how it feels under makeup and it really works… It was really put to the test last weekend at the water park. I used my usual sunscreen everywhere else. My usual sunscreen is a highly rated sunscreen…. But it was the water park so I wasn’t surprised that I did burn a little on my shoulders and arms. Shoot… I hate that! I'll try other sunscreens eventually, but i don't think you could go wrong with this one. It's lightweight, doesn't leave a white film, and doesn't smell bad. I never get irritation from it. It is pretty shiny but i put on some setting powder on after it and it makes it look really natural. Love it!
